Decorating the bikes for the bike parade

These pictures are out of order. We were able to have my Dad and my Sister and her kids here for the 4th this year. I hope they had a lot of fun. My mom went to visit her parents in Vernal this weekend so she was not with us. We started off the 4th of July morning at the ward breakfast. Which Derek got asked to help cook the pancakes. Then they had a program and a bike parade for the kids in the Church parking lot. This year Derek and I decorated the girls bikes because they were with my dad up in Ogden visiting his parents. Then the ward had a obstacle course for the kids to go through at the park behind the Church. They had a blast. Then we went to Emmie and Jason house that evening and had a bbq and they had water stuff for the kids to do while we were eating. Then Jason and Emmie had some awesome fireworks they let off and then we went and watched the big fireworks at the park in pleasant grove with them. This is the first year we have stayed to watch the big fireworks and Ellie and Kason fell asleep during them. It is so nice to be able to have family around for the holiday and to get together with family too. I am so thankful for the land that we live in and for the freedom that we do get to enjoy.

The Cake

This year every time I asked Hailee what kind of cake she wanted she told me a Monkey cake. So thanks to my sisters help I was able to make a monkey cake. Hailee loved it to. She kept eating the icing off of it. For her presents she received a Lego blocks, barrel of monkeys, bat and ball, and a little pink stool.

Ellie's first missing tooth

Today Ellie lost her first tooth. She is really growing up to fast. She was very excited about it. She came and told me that is was hurting and there was blood. So I looked and it was really loose so I gave her a piece of taffy and told her to let it get soft on the tooth and then pull it out. Well it happened the second time she tried it and she was chewing on it and she thought she was chewing on a rock she said.

Kason's Blessing Day

Kason's blessing day! This is a very special day. We are so glad that we have Kason in our family. Derek did a great job giving Kason his blessing. Thank you to all the family that came to support us and help us this past weekend.

Ellie's Kindergarten Graduation

I still can not believe that Ellie is done with Kindergarten. She is growing up so fast. She loved her teacher and had alot of fun at school. Her teacher was Mrs. Belnap. The graduation was really cute then we got to go to her class room and have treats.

Ellie's Fun days at School

Ellie had some fun days the last month of the school year. Some were cowboy days, space days, and her animal diorama she had to make and take to school. She loves horses so of course she had to make a diorama of a horse.
